Four instruments based on rare Italian instruments from the 1950s to the 1980s, Blond will take you on a fascinating journey through the Bel Paese past. This family of accessories includes very rare instruments made in Italy up to 60 years ago. Some of these have gained a great reputation in the professional audio industry over time, while others are known only to the most experienced collectors. They have acquired an almost legendary status. These machines can be hard to come by, but we did our best and bought these smart and beautiful machines. The Blond plug-in suite lets you create great-sounding mixes with rare selections found nowhere else. There are two models of reed equalizer. EQ Model B: A 1980’s “Sontec style” -band parametric EQ chip for incredible performance while in control. There are many converters that offer many sound effects to experience. To call this unit an EQ would be an understatement. We think “Pre-Mixer” best describes the creative power of this powerful processor. A unique tone palette based on different Italian-made studio units from the 60s, 70s and 80s will act as a “deceptive enhancement” to your mix. These true vacuum tubes, or FETs, exhibit a very neutral response. The effect is often large and powerful. WARNING: If your browser crashes, don’t panic! The Italian table maker we modeled began in the 19 0s making vacuum tube radios. A turning point in his career came in the 1950s when his famous tape hit the market. Since then, rock stars such as David Gilmour, Jimmy Page and other famous names began to use their tapes to create their own sound. The rest, they say, is history. The Blond Pre is full of preamp goodness. With 7 different samples divided into four banks, the only “problem” you’ll face is deciding which sound is best to use in your mix. The Blond Comp plug-in features five dynamic processors, including tube, optical and FET models. The machines we show to make this plug were made in limited quantities. This Italian-made instrument is, of course, very rare.
