Arturia Bus PEAK is a progressive limiter that also includes a clipper function.
Features of the plug-in:
A two-band limiter is provided at the input, acting as a dynamic equalizer. If necessary, it can be used to make timbral changes to the signal before processing with the main limiter.
After pre-tone correction, the signal is fed to the clipper and limiter, which can be operated separately or together.
The control is done visually, directly on the spectrum of the signal. The lower the dB value, the more the clipper will limit and the limiter will attenuate the peaks of the processed signal.
Additional settings are provided, allowing you to achieve softer or aggressive processing.
The plug-in is designed to be placed on instrument buses or master channel, where it acts as a “glue” for all incoming signals.
