Autodesk Flame 2025 provides tools for visual effects and finishing in stereoscopic 3D projects. At the core of the Autodesk Flame software system are highly realistic lighting sources, a fully integrated timeline editing process, and a full suite of video processing tools.
Autodesk Flame allows artists and special effects professionals to add 3D effects to video, perform clip finishing, and compile different files between them. In addition to applying effects, there is also the possibility of final processing by the editor. All processed and newly uploaded files are stored in the cloud storage, they can be accessed by all owners of a subscription to the program. Thanks to a well-optimized environment utility does not take up a lot of resources and is able to work in combination with less capacious applications (3D Max and similar).
Autodesk Flame features:
Machine learning for live scene depth reclamation. Analyze shots, correct color, or apply effects based on distance from the camera.
Machine learning to create 3D terrain maps with surface orientation for color adjustment, color correction and beauty retouching.
Providing crypto-objects, assets and materials in Flame and Flare without the need to re-render.
3D object can now refract real world material, distorting background objects based on surface material characteristics.
3D compositing combines the interactive speed of traditional 2D compositing with powerful 3D visual effects. Includes WYSIWYG preview for artists in session.
Batch, a node-based procedural compositing environment, integrates with timeline and desktop to combine 2D and 3D elements efficiently and iteratively.
Ability to use the timeline to oversee projects, create consistent images, and properly map graded and 3D VFX shots to editorial goals.
An integrated collective set of tools for color, cosmetic work, production troubleshooting tasks, or to create creative distortions and treatments for any image.
MasterGrade: the Creative Color tool provides 3 modes optimized for grading 3 types of color spaces: video, logarithmic and linear.
Automatic cache on playback is now available when using Linux Flame 2020. Accelerating the creative view of developer tasks.
The Effects tab allows you to apply the shot-to-shot navigation principles of the color grading tool using a wide range of effects.
Support for additional formats and advanced sharing and processing.
Script handler for processing images through external visualization tools.
Tracking color space information for each clip, from source to screen.
Batch editing of colors and animations.
Connected Conform workflow – a unified approach to media management for sharing, sorting, and synchronizing media across multiple sequences.
