User Interface
The user interface has improved aesthetics and optimized navigation. In Exposure X, you can immediately see the potential result of applying presets, and you have the option to view presets in text format. Presets are again categorized, and you can create your own. Retina display support is included. New textures have been added to Exposure X, along with more flexible settings for borders, dust and scratches. Effects and lighting effects are grouped. The Randomize tool allows for random selection of various results, providing a convenient way to achieve unique outcomes.
Preset Group
Manage preset settings with groups of related sliders, as well as texture overlays. Preset groups allow for quick exploration of possible options without fiddling with individual sliders. Hover your mouse pointer over a preset— the thumbnail updates to show you how it will look on the photo. Simply run your cursor over the list of presets to quickly explore them visually. Additionally, with each preset, you can use a variety of control elements: tone, curves, focus, grain, vignette, and more.
Texture Overlay
In Exposure X, you can add a wide range of beautiful, realistic effects imitating “dirt,” matte emulsion, light leaks, scratches, dust, and old film.
Alien Skin Snap Art
Alien Skin Snap Art is a graphic editor that turns your photos into drawings with pencil, pastel, charcoal, or paintings with oil or watercolor, among others. The program can work as a plugin for Adobe Photoshop or in standalone mode. Snap Art 4 offers over 200 presets in 12 main styles. When creating a drawing, Snap Art considers the contours of objects in the original photo, ensuring natural brush strokes and lines. In each preset, you can adjust various effect parameters, as well as image tone, lighting, vignetting, and the type of canvas the effect should be applied to. Additionally, you can create and save your own effects as custom settings. View the original image and the processed results in real-time in various split modes.

Alien Skin Blow Up is a plugin designed for enlarging images while preserving maximum quality. Unlike other enlargement solutions, Blow Up can scale images up to 3600% (six times in each dimension) without introducing artifacts such as combing, halos, or streaks. Blow Up can work in CMYK, RGB, Lab, Grayscale, and Duotone modes, handle files with multiple layers (without needing to flatten them), and work with 16- and 32-bit images, including RAW and HDR. Another feature of the plugin is saving the new image as a separate file, leaving the original image untouched.
