After integrating Neural Mix technology into its djay app, Algoriddim has launched Neural Mix Pro, a standalone music player and editor for Mac. This tool allows users to split instruments and vocals in any song and export individual tracks for use in your DAW.
This “real-time music source separation” technology offers immense potential for sampling and remixing, though legal considerations must be taken into account. The browser feature lets you sort and select tracks, and a loop editor enables precise audio trimming.
Additionally, users can adjust the tone and tempo of songs using the built-in zplane élastique Pro V3 engine and isolate or mute individual instruments. This makes Neural Mix Pro a valuable tool for musicians to play along with phonograms.
“We developed Neural Mix Pro to offer a new creative dimension for producers, DJs, and musicians of all skill levels,” said Karim Morsi, CEO and co-founder of Algoriddim. “Our goal is to enable anyone to explore and edit music in innovative ways, and we’re excited to see the creative output from this AI-powered music tool.”
Hip-hop legend Pete Rock commented, “Neural Mix is incredible! It does so many things I dreamed of in my early DJing years, and now it’s a reality.”
